Youma
Youma are the baddies that work under usual bad
guys, like Esmeraude or Nephrite or Hawk Eye, they do all the dirty work and usually die
in the process. However, they can also be possessed individuals. When I can, I'll get some
snaps and make wavs of their phrases.
1st Season: Sailor Moon
Enemy: Dark Kindgom
Youma: Youma
Meaning of Youma Name: Monster in
Japanese
Subtypes: Youma and Nizihsho Youma
Killed by: There are youma, which are
creatures directly from the Dark Kingdom that Sailor Moon kills with Moon Tiara Action.
Then there are the nijizuishou carriers ("7 rainbow crystals") who were once the
strongest warriors in the Dark Kingdom. They had to be healed back into regular
people with Moon Healing Escalation.
They Say: When nijizuishou carriers are
healed they cry "Refreshed!"
2nd Season:
Sailor Moon R, Ail and Ann Arc
Enemy: Ail and Ann, the Makaiiju
Children
Youma: Cardian
Meaning of Youma Name: They are chosen
from Tarot cards, and when they die they turn into back into the Tarot card they came
from. Hense cardian.
Killed by: Sailor Moon using Moon Tiara
Magic for a short time, until it stops working. Then she uses Moon Princess Halation
to kill them. One of them was also killed by Sailor Jupiter using her Supreme
Thunder. When they die they turn back into the card they were chosen from.
They Say: When they have been killed by
Moon Princess Halation, they cry, "Cleansing!"
2nd Season: Sailor Moon R, Black Moon
Enemy: The Black Moon Clan
Youma: Droid
Meaning of Youma Name: I'm not entirely
sure, droid is usually an abbreviation for the word "android" meaning robot. Go
figure.
Killed by: Moon Princess Halation.
Also: Some are chosed by Esmeraude to
guard the energy-sucking statues of herself. When they are killed, they turn into a
dark crystal in a pile of ashes.
3rd Season: Sailor Moon Super
Enemy: The Death Busters
Youma: Daimon
Meaning of Youma Name: Daimon is a
Greek deritive for the word "Demon".
Killed by: Moon Spiral Heart Attack,
Rainbow Moon Heartache, one was also killed with Sparkling Wide Pressure.
They Say: With Moon Spiral Heart
Attack, they cry "Lovely!" and with Rainbow Moon Heartache they cry
"L-lovely!"
Also: Daimons are from Daimon Eggs
invented by Professor Tomoe. He puts things together and they become Daimon Eggs, he
gives the Daimon eggs to Kaolinite or the Witches 5 who use them to help get heart
crystals.
4th Season:
Sailor Moon SuperS
Enemy: The Dead Moon Circus
Youma: Lemure
Meaning of Name: It is a type of demon
in Greek mythology I believe...
Killed by: Moon Spiral Heart Attack
(for a short time) then Moon Gorgeous Meditation
They Say: Male lemures say
"Stage out!" and females say "Beautiful!"
Also: When Lemures die, a shadow of
them forms on the ground. IMHO, Lemures are the coolest youma, they have they are really
funny!
5th Season:
Sailor Moon Stars, Neherenia Arc
Enemy: Queen Neherenia
Youma: Mirror paredory
Meaning of name: I have no clue
Killed by: These aren't classic
"Monsters of the Day" they really just look like Neherenia and they crack when
they are killed. They can be killed by any senshi.
5th Season:
Sailor Moon Stars, Galaxia Arc
Enemy: The Shadow Galactica
Youma: Sailor
Meaning of Name: Sail-or. Pretty
obvious, ne?
Healed by: Starlight
Honeymoon Therapy Kiss or Silver Moon Crystal Power Kis
Also: Each Sailor is different, such as
the fat police officer who turned into a Robo-Cop like
"Sailor Officer!" When the animamates take out their starseeds, they
grow evil, and once SM heals em, they get their seeds back, and are good again.
They Say: "Beauty!"
